They both have very wide ranging tone controls, are very gated, sputtery, and nasty sounding. They both can get very loud. They are similar enough that I would use the same words to describe them, yet different enough to sound noticeably different.
These are for sale independently, but the owners will essentially both have half of a medallion.

These are both early versions of Blue Rose. I liked them, but they were a long way off from the final version. I made one of each, put them aside for a long time, and made some major changes which became Blue Rose.
